EXE replacement that allows textures/transparent textures on an extended range. Please refer to directions below to enable petza to work with the exe. Merry Early Christmas!!
This exe allows for color ranges of 150-159, 160-169, 170-179, 180-189 and 190-198 to have texture. Note that 170 and the 190 will flash white at times because the Z shade slope goes through the gradient and those either have a solid white or are missing a color. As an added bonus it seems textures made in the color ranges 0-9 also can be made transparent if the texture setting is 1. Changes in texture also apply to clothing items. Clothing items in these colors will now have Z shading and possible texture. This exe has been tested and petz breed fine, but not all colors breed true. Some get replaced with white, which is a problem with the original exe.
Update!!! New Purple colors!!!
Version 2 of my updated exe Now frees a few in game colors including purple color 234 and flame orange-red 229. I also took some unused colors (240, 241, and 242) and changed them to purple shades via photoshop's color table feature. This allows for me to edit one swatch at a time and not affect the other colors in the palette unless they share a swatch. I checked to be sure these weren't going to affect any other colors.
Per request here is the newest palette with numbers over the colors so you can correctly number the new colors in petz workshop or LNZpro.
The key is as follows:
* means a color that is in the game but wasn't used until now. 176 and 179 are marked because they are colors that were in the game before the palette change, but moved from their original spots. (175-176 and 177 and 178 were repeats of each other before)
** is a new color not previously in the game. I took a set of colors that had RGB at 0,0,0.
- A color that renders as a diffrent color in the game so not reliable. The game modifies the color table or has a second one. See alternative color table below this one to compare those colors. Note: color 8 is one of these I fond after I made this chart. It picks a greenish gray that isn't on either chart.
This is the palette the game actually uses that it modified from the previous index. Something to note when hexpainting, drawing toys, scenes, and stuff.
Update: I changed the color of 170 from pure white to #ceeff1. It is a ligher greenish blue version of 171. This is to make the Z-shading nicer in that color range. It also give the snowball toy a light bluish cast.
Flat 150-198 version for those who want to keep these colors flat and don't love the Z shading, but would still like the purples.

----------------------------------- P.S. If Petza does not cooperate there is a solution here. Download the UpdateWriteTime.bat file, place it in the folder with your exe. Rename your original exe to Petza.exe, open and then follow the instructions the program gives.

I'm just getting started. Website will be rough for a while. Breedz are petz 4 unless mentioned otherwise.
Note: These are in progress. When the PKC site is back up I hope to get these ready for acceptance.
Textures
Breedz:
I started this as a contest entry for making a hexed breed that looked like it could have been made by the PFM developers. I picked the bloodhound because I wanted to see a petzy hound breed. I tried my best to get the custom personality values the same in all versions, but I can't be 100% certain they are the same as I have trouble comparing the lines in the hex editor.
Based off the West African breed. I had intended to do this in 2006, but now got around to making it. A neat feature of this particular file is that movement is decent for such a file. I made sure of it. It was the goal I had in 2006, but couldn't achieve until now. Comes in a variety of colors. Two brindle textures. Lip lines, ribs and claws are optional. Nose shines can be either classic (two simple addballz) or modern (a row of them). Several tail carriage variations. For colors I covered the basics and what the real life breed standard calls for, but you can hex paint to make your own colors. For hex painting I recommend you adopt the shape you like and then do pet to breedfile to edit. Or use a combination of petz workshop and LNZpro. That said, please don't distribute your edited breed file without my permission. Sharing petz is fine. Please link back to my site if you share. Texture files are internal. Breed base: Dalmatian, SCP: Labrador. Edited personality values.
This is based off the rare Dutch breed. I started in 2006, but started over with a new base. Two color variations with mutating paintballz that pass down with the markings. Only black and white and liver and white are accepted via the breed standard, but many colors can be achieved through selective breeding. Addballz done in the body but are anchored in project ball to move smoothly with most actions. Variable tails. Some are moving uptails and some are stationary down tails. They are the default tail ballz anchored via project ball to invisible addballz. Ears are the default plus addballz based off ear balls. Two snout variations. Two head size variations. 18 pattern variations. A multiple of texture variations, from light ticking to heavy ticking. Soft longhair fur texture or base hair 10. Two pose variations, one looks right at you and one looks sat a slight angle like normal in dali poses. Texture files are included in the breedfile, thus won't get lost. For hex painting I recommend you adopt the shape you like and then do pet to breedfile to edit. Or use a combination of petz workshop and LNZpro. That said, please don't distribute your edited breed file without my permission. Sharing petz is fine. Please link back to my site if you share. Modified personality, dalmatian base and labrador scp.
Updated: Now has a variation with a slightly shorter neck and has the cream texture replaced/updated because it bothered me before.
A showy type file that I started in 2006 but abandoned until now. It's got a few color variations, covering the main colors found in the breed. More variations are done to the tail types and body. There's 50% chance of having topline addballz to add black to the grizzle shading, and there are three body variations. Standard, which is a lighter coat, and heavy coat with or without extra neck ruff around the head. There are addballz in the body and neck, but carefully placed and anchored so they move fine in the game. Ears are the default/addballz based off the ears and tail off the tail/tail default. The tail ballz are anchored with invisible addballz to either keep movement still or wiggle with the tail 57 ball. Great Dane Base and SCP. Modified personality: 100% confidence, high conformation, high intelligence, medium kindness, medium playfulness.
A more showy type file with cartoon-like features. It has a number of tail and body variations in the topline and underbelly/tuck-up. Lots of addballz were used to make the beard 3-D and shape the body. As a result addball clothing won't connect except for a few limited items. Addballz used in the body and invisible ones used to anchor variaous parts in the project ball section. Texture files are included in the breedfile, thus won't get lost. For hex painting I recommend you adopt the shape you like and then do pet to breedfile to edit. That said, please don't distribute your edited breed file. Sharing petz is fine. Please link back to my site if you share. Great dane base and Labrador SCP.
A hybrid file between petzy and realistic, this file overwrites my previous BH Bedlington file. It includes two toplines, two body lengths, and a multitude of other variations, especially with the topknot size and shape. Comes with optional shaved patch on the neck. Textures are internal, inside the breedfile, so no worries about losing textures or misplacing them. Modified Scottie base and uses the scottie scp. It poses easier than a normal Scottie based file, at least I think so. For hex painting I recommend you adopt the shape you like and then do pet to breedfile to edit. That said, please don't distribute your edited breed file. Sharing petz is fine. Please link back to my site if you share.
P5 Smooth Ibizan Hound
Includes 7 tail variations, two head rotation variations (one looks directly on in dali poses and the other is more normal), a couple top line variations, 3 body length variations, 3 head size variations, and a multitude of other variations. The tail is made from the default ballz plus a few addball tail ballz but anchored to invisible addballz via [Project Ball]. Those are visible in petz workshop but not in game. While this is more showy than my recent files, how realistic vs. petzy it is, depends on the pet you choose. For hex painting I recommend you adopt the shape you like and then do pet to breedfile to edit. That said, please don't distribute your edited breed file. Sharing petz is fine. Please link back to my site if you share. Labrador base and SCP.
Same variations as above, though some new variations are added to the beard and amount of wire hair feathering. Overwrites the smooth hair file.
Includes three ear variations, multiple color variations and two texture variations. Textures are in the breedfile. Lip lines are a variation.Includes 4 tail variations, multiple color variations. Two body types. Textures are in the breedfile. Lip lines are a variation.
A more cartoony, petzy hybrid type file, more on the petzy side. They only come in white, but there's a number of variations to the tail and feathering/ body weight. Tail is the default plus some addballz for the feathering. Liplines are optional. Furry longhair texture is internal so it won't get lost or misplaced. 12/5/22 - Updated the texture because I noticed it was not the fully transparent red that I expected. It now also works in my updated exe.
Includes two tail variations, multiple texture variations (three internal textures and one default. Also includes some hidden textures not used.)Includes three tail variations, two fur/body types (heavy and light), multiple color variations. Lip lines are a variation as well as inner ear tufts.
Does not overwrite my first version. The two can play together in the game if desired.
I made the name and id different so it didn't conflict with other PKC Greenland Dog files.
Lip lines are a variation. Texture is in the breedfile. Various color overrides. Overwrites my PKC BH Saluki file.
Multiple color variations. Lip lines are a variation. Textures are internal in the breedfile.
